Dogtor J.'s Favorite Links

(This is undoubtedly the most incredible website I have ever seen when it comes to understanding what food is doing to our body. This doctor's site has over 15,000 pages of fact-filled information on this topic and much, much more. It contains information on everything from foods to estrogens to cardiovascular disease to cancer. However, like my site, the focus keeps coming back to the role of nutrition and what the same foods we have discussed are doing to our bodies every time we consume them. Be sure to read his Optimal Eating Plan. I have been following it and it is absolutely awesome. It meets all the criteria I had already established in all of my previous research. Is it difficult to do at first? Of course. But, a little step of faith will reap great rewards. Understand this concept then examine how motivated you are to get well. If you're like I was, you are ready for the miracle that awaits you when you follow these guidelines.)

Please join me on a great Internet program put on by the two wonderful women of Animal Talk Naturally, Kim Bloomer and Jeannie Thomason. I have had the privilege of being on their show a number of times now and have enjoyed every second of the stimulating conversations I have had with these genuinely concerned and passionate animal lovers. You can click on the link above to hear their past programs and sign up for future broadcasts. You won't be disappointed!

And here are Kim and Jeannie's other Websites where you will find a wealth of information and some great products for your pets:

Celiac Links-  (Go to Table of Contents, then click on Disease which resemble celiac
disease and related disorders ) The Website of the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA), recently featured in the August '06 edition of Good Housekeeping. A great site dedicated to the spreading the word about this all-too-common and potentially devastating condition. *  (Read here about autism- a classic example of what proteins can do
to our brain.)   (These articles are a number of great connections between
gluten and medical conditions)

Casein/Dairy Links- *  (Read about autism here- Casein and gluten "addiction".)  (This is 15 pages long, but well worth the paper to print out. It is a great overview of the whole milk issue)

(* These are searchable websites. Click on "search the archives" or "search the past articles of the archives". Then put in whatever condition you want (e.g. fibromyalgia, lupus, diabetes, etc.) into the search engine and read the results.)

Soy Links-  (VERY important) - "Cinderella's Dark Side", by Sally Fallon and Mary Enig (The best and most comprehensive article on the dangers of soy..."the third plague" as I like to call it.) "Soy Alert"

Misc. Diet Links- - A very good site that pulls many things together, including celiac disease, autism, ADHD, and many of the things of which I write so much about.

Lectin Links-

Food Intolerance Sites-

Food Intolerance- Testing

Hydrogenated Oils- (Crucial!!!)

Artificial Sweeteners and MSG- - Simply put "saccharin", "aspartame", "Nutrisweet", "sucralose", "Splenda" or "MSG" in his Search search engine and read all you need to convince yourself of the incredible health risks of aspartame, sucralose, and MSG. You'll also get a glimpse of how things work in big business.

Alternative Medicine Sites:

Vaccination Issues: - Great insight into this extremely important issue by veterinarian and author Dr. Stephen Blake, the Pet Whisperer.

Pet Related Links:

Animal Talk Naturally- - This is the site if the podcast that I do monthly with Kim Bloomer and Jeannie Thomason, two wonderful, passionate women who are dedicated to animal health and welfare. This and their individual sites below have so much to offer the pet owner, from vital nutritional information to pending legislation that can affect you and your pet.

The Whole Dog- - This is Jeannie Thomason's individual site on which she covers a multitude of very important pet-related topics, the latest of which are critical legislative issues that speak to the very core of pet ownership. You may be shocked at the agenda of some individuals who are working to limit your rights at a loving pet owner.

Aspenbloom Pet Care- This is Kim Bloomer's individual site, where you will find vital information concerning nutrition, vaccinations, breeding, and current events. Kim appears tireless as she covers every important pet issue while hosting her popular and rapidly expanding podcast on Animal Talk Naturally. It has been my pleasure and privilege to be involved with this broadcast as Kim and Jeannie cover the most important topics concerning your pet's well being.

Good Books: - A GREAT book from my colleague and friend Dr. Roger De Hann. In his "We Don't Die, We Kill Ourselves", he does an awesome job of enlightening us all about the health dilemma that we have created for ourselves. You can find it here on ( )

Dangerous Grains- by  Ron Hoggan. You can find it here on ( )

The No Grain Diet- by Dr.Joe Mercola. You can find it here on ( )

Don't Drink Your Milk- by Dr. Frank Oski. This amazing book was written by Dr.Oski while he was serving at the prestigious Johns Hospkins University. He was the Chief of Staff and the Chief of Pediatrics during his career there. Why did his critically important book all but disappear??? ( )

Fibroid Tumor and Endometriosis Self-Help Book- by Dr. Susan M. Lark. This is a very useful reference for those suffering from these all-too-common, preventable and very treatable conditions. In it, she nails the dairy connection. Estrogens are the enemy and the main dietary sources of estrogen are dairy, gluten grains, soy and now chicken. You can read more about this here.

Other Important Related Websites: - Dr. Don Colbert has it goin' on. He is a wise man with an important message. He has numerous books available that cover a myriad of critical issues, from diet to detoxing from environmental issues. This is an awesome site by a very wise MD named Dr. Russell Blaylock. he is the author of "Excitotoxins- The Taste that Kills", a groundbreaking book that exposes the neurotoxicity of MSG and aspartame. His Blaylock Wellness Report is well worth subscribing to. Between the incredibly important work of Dr. Blaylock, Dr. Colbert, and Dr. Mercola, we should not be having the health crises with which we are now faced. Here is a wonderful site that purports the idea of "letting food be your medicine". Well put, Jay! This is a great site established by a family who contacted me about the gluten-free, casein-free, soy-free, and corn-free diet. They have had remarkable recoveries from a myriad of problems and are now sharing their successes with others. A great Website for support in dealing with this all too common pain syndrome. Anne and Dale are two dedicated individuals with a strong passion for helping others. - IBS An important and enlightening Website filled with personal testimonies and solutions. and A great site by a dedicated and well-informed cat lover. She lays it on the line and appeals to our common sense. I really like that approach.(smile) - "What's Really in Pet Food".  This is an eye-opening article dealing with the pet food manufacturing business. Think you're too old to change your ways? As the creator of the Website states "As we journey through life and become senior citizens we may face compulsory retirement, ill-health, loss of a partner or loved one, or simply a desire to do something different with our lives. Regardless of our present circumstances, or beliefs the very fact that we are living in the here and now and not just for the now means we are empowered to change aspects of our lives we dislike.  We can make a fresh start based on our new found freedom...

Dogtor J.

I hope you enjoyed your time here and got something important from your stay. It is my goal to help all of mankind navigate through the jungle of medical information now available on the Internet and find the truth about the origins of what we call "disease" as well as discover the natural solutions for these conditions.
We do have our health's destiny in our own hands more than we've ever imagined, certainly more than most have ever been told. Think naturally and the answer will come.

The New is done! Yes, the time has finally come for this homemade Website to go the way of the buffalo. I know that you all join me in looking forward to using a site that is better organized and more accessible....prettier, too! I've even corrected most of those annoying typos (I hope).

Feel free to check it out now at I am still working hard to populate all of the pages so don't worry if a link does not work. They should all be active in the near future. In the meantime, this current site will remain on-line until I get all of the bugs worked out.

Let me know what you think! It's not too late to make some changes.
Dogtor J

would still like to hear from you personally, though.
I used to have a nice little form in this space that would allow readers to send me a quick comment or testimonial. Unfortunately, as the Interent goes, I started getting 50-100 junk emails through this form and had to remove it.
So, until the new Website is up and running (soon!), I will have to ask people to formulate an Email of their own and send it. I do want to hear from you so I would really appreciate it if you could take the time to do this.
Simply title your Email "Visitor Comment" and include your name, occupationcomment/testimonial and return Email address (if you want to be contacted) and send it to:
dogtorj @ (Just remove the spaces on each side of the @ sign)
Please do not use this form to ask medical questions. See the Contact section for instructions for sending DogtorJ an Email inquiry concerning a medical condition.

Great News! will be getting a major facelift in the very near future. Yes, the time has finally come for this homemade Website to be taken over by someone who actually knows what they are doing. I know that you all join me in looking forward to having the site better organized and more accessible. It'll be prettier, too!
This is taking place for a number of reasons, the most of important of which will be revealed in the upcoming months. Yes, the book is finally in the works but there will be a major awareness project to go along with it.
So, please stay tuned. Anyone who would like to get on my mailing list can do so by simply using the visitor's comment area (like the one above) found at the bottom of each page.
Onward and upward!
