I LOVE it...absolutely love it. And, I want to post this on my Website just as it is written. OK? I want to do this for a number of reasons. First of all, it is a perfect analogy. You are GREAT at this type of thinking and it
shows that you care enough for others to explain things to them in terms they can grasp. That is what my exam room lectures have all been about for the past 5 years...trying to hone this lecture down to something I can take on the road...BUT, your input takes that to a whole 'nother level. (God has assembled this group for a reason (s), and it is becoming very apparent why.
Establishing a sound platform is one. Scott is a great addition, as he is a real doer and already has great plans for getting this word out...radio programs, seminars, whatever it takes.) The other reason I want to post this is that it is a perfect lead in for what I am about to send to you.

God is working double-time in both of our minds, George. Halleluiah! It is just so cool, isn't it? The seeds have been planted over the years and now He's watering them and they are sprouting up all over the place. The understanding of viruses was crucial to putting this together and it all culminated in a revelation of Biblical proportion last night, George. I am trembling and having chills just thinking about it. I want to share it with you right now, but...

Hey, I WILL share it with you right now. I was going to wait and tell you after I sent you the Email I am working on right now (one explaining endometriosis to a PhD friend of mine). But here it is, George. Brace yourself!!! :):):)

Let's do it this way-

1) We have established that viruses were created for good...for adaptation and variation in nature

2) We have also established the role of viruses in "disease" (and I put that in quotes because it no longer means what it used to. I'll explain later). They cause transient illness/symptoms, are involved in immune-mediated diseases, and are the ultimate CAUSE of cancer, which we have established is the virus' desperate attempt to wall itself (and the tissue that contains it) off from the threats that forced it to create the tumor (the cocoon) to begin with....the "carcinogens". This we have established, which is "medical heresy" but actually dovetails right into the existing medical paradigm once you see the adaptation principle.

4) It is now scientific fact that we have more viral information in our double-stranded DNA sequences that we do GENES. Wow!!! Yes, we have more viral segments than we do genes that determine our eye or hair color or code for the formation of every organ in our body. That's what GENES do... from a sperm and an egg coming together, they build an entire human. WOW, again!!!! (And people want to see a miracle. My God, forgive us for our blindness.) BUT, the viruses embedded between those genes cause the variation and ultimately the adaptation when things start going wrong.

5) We have established the role of lectins (HUGE), poor nutrition, chemicals/pollution, "carcinogens", stress (emotional and physical),
misaligned spines, and more in the production of disease. We have also determined to a great extent HOW these things do this. But in a nutshell, it is the effect they have on the cells of the body and ultimately the VIRUSES they contain. For example, a lectin (dietary glycoprotein) attaches to the known glycoprotein receptors on cells and a change in that cell wall takes place. It is a biochemical reaction, not an immune-mediated one...yet. As stated in articles on lectins, one of 10 or more different reactions can then take place in that cell, ranging from cell death to hypertrophy to the production of hormones/more lectins/ chemicals to cancer. What determines which reaction takes place...the DNA, more specifically the viruses within that DNA. Does everyone have the same set of viruses? No. Therefore, does
everyone react the same? No. This is CRUCIAL for us to understand, so it is a shame that this is buried in this text. But, we'll call it "hidden manna" for now...for those who have the patience to read this whole thing. :):):) This is what contagious diseases are all about!!! We are sharing viruses that may just save our life someday. THAT is God's purpose for what we call "disease"...to have communicable viruses that we can SHARE so that those of other areas can then adapt to OUR particular environment. How cool is that? So, this is yet one more thing that we have upside down, demonizing viruses and shunning illness as if it is all bad. Hey, what doesn't kill ya' makes you stronger, right? But why then do people get REALLY sick and die? YOU know the answer? We don't allow our bodies to handle the challenge properly. We take the fever reducers and do everything we can to handcuff our immune system, the GOVERNOR of this entire process.

6) So, we have also established we were given an immune system that oversees this whole process and it is vital that it remain healthy. Viruses are NOT thinking beings, at least not by the standards of our understanding. They are like robots, given a task that they WILL carry out at all costs. Think of them as friendly "Terminators", meant to help us, even if it means harming us somewhere along the way. (Sounds a bit like parenting or God's way of dealing with us spiritually, doesn't it? "Its for your own good" is what we tell our kids when we are forced to do something they don't like. We have to keep remembering that when bad things happen to us, too, don't we?
"Count it all joy" is what Paul so correctly concluded and preached.) So again, we are given an immune system to keep this process in check. It is our armor, just as the Christ and His Holy Spirit are our spiritual armor. (Ephesians 6:12 and following). It is our immune system that keeps things from getting out of control.

7) So, we established that the decline in our health develops...in stages...as the result of us bombarding our body with the damaging items
listed above (including the dietary lectins of gluten, casein, soy, and corn as well as pollutants) while all the while handcuffing our immune system with drugs (fever-reducers, NSAIDS, cholesterol statin drugs, HRT, antihistamines, antacids...all "symptomatic" medication). How does that make you feel to read that in one sentence??? I don't know about you, but it makes me feel like a total idiot. But it fulfils God's Word...something about confounding the wise. ( But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to CONFOUND the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to CONFOUND the things which are mighty. 1 Corinth. 1:27). YES. we have all fallen victim to the "wisdom"of man. Time to "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God", right? Bottom line? We reap what we sow and man, are we reaping a bad harvest from sowing such seeds as hydrogenated oils, aspartame, gluten, casein, soy, red dye number whatever, high fructose corn syrup, NSAIDS, statins, HRT, etc etc. And, they are simply driving the viruses CRAZY, forcing them to adapt in ways that our body does not like. If we had healthy immune systems, we could handle it...at least better than we are now. BUT, it is the lethal combination of doing these things to our body while trouncing our immune system that does us in. Remember: Good things come in "threes" (the number of the Trinity), bad things come in "twos" (the number of "division"). The number of "man" is six, three times two. Two can be divided by itself (and is all of the time, right?) but "Three" CANNOT be divided. Halleluiah! And six (man) can be divided by two and by three. I'll let YOU work on that one. (smile).

8) Shifting gears, researchers are now studying ENERGY and how light and sound affect the health and growth of tissues, not only in plants but animal tissue. They are coming to the (correct) conclusion that our double-stranded DNA is the "receiver"...the antenna by which we receive positive and negative energy. Hey, look at all antennae...two strands, one for positive and one for negative so that energy can flow. Think of our old bipole antennae for TVs and stereos. Look kinda like a double-stranded DNA, right? How cool is that? Once again, is it the "genes"...those guys that code for your eye or hair color or that are responsible for the formation of your heart, liver, and earlobes? Or is it the viruses embedded in that genome? Or is it just the very nature of the double-stranded helix to be a receiver? I would believe it is the mostly the latter, which would put us all on equal footing. But, there IS "wiggle room" there for some being "better" receivers than others. That is beyond the scope of this Email (smile). But even though researchers are just now coming to grips with the fact that our DNA IS our receiver and are working on how that works, we will say that is has been established that it is true.

And THAT leads to the latest epiphany (and I am quaking as I write this). All of my 6 years of study have led to this moment. I have waded through countless scientific articles and textbooks, all the while doing a parallel study of Scripture, prophecy, and the sanctification process. I also took a major trip down "memory lane", examining all of man's past...his medical and spiritual history... examining where we made our mistakes in our vain attempt to understand God's Creation without "seeking ye first". Without doing that, we are lost...confounded by our own "wisdom". And it all leads to this paper and the last two items. Are you ready? Let's go.........

9) How did Jesus heal people while He was here on earth? How DID He heal the blind and afflicted...even raise the DEAD...while He was here on earth? Is there at least a partial physical (obeying the laws of physics), biological, or "earthly" explanation for this? Is there something that we can latch onto that helps us to understand HOW He did it without diminishing the Divine and miraculous nature of His work on earth, all the while elevating our understanding and FAITH to levels not previously attained by mankind. Yes, yes, yes! (Are you already there, George? Are you already seeing it?). It is God's perfect design and plan to have our DNA be the receiver, and it is as phenomenal as other "two-edged swords". What better place to have the KEY to our health embedded? And what better place to have a SINGLE place that controls EVERYTHING...good and "bad"...that HE can access through His almighty power...His energy, His power, His light, His voice, His Holy Spirit. So, He healed people with a touch. YES, we know He did. Halleluiah! Some just had to touch His robe as He passed by. But He also healed with the sound of His voice. Wow! He did not have to touch everyone He healed, did He? Prayer DOES heal, through the power of the Holy Spirit. In His time, many were healed instantaneously....on the spot. What was required of ALL of them...faith. They had to have their antennae aligned! What did He say was the reason that the disciples could not perform miracles in many cases? Lack of faith.

But as you so eloquently reminded us in class recently, Peter ("the Rock") says in 1 Peter 2:24- " Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were HEALED." We ARE healed. We are already healed. We just have to claim this healing and do what it takes to make it so. Six years ago, I was one sick person, on multiple prescription drugs and frankly not having any fun anymore. But, at that very same moment, I had the potential to be the well man that I am now. My health was already there, as you so brilliantly pointed out. I just had to have the faith that it was true and do what was necessary to claim it. It took faith, searching for answers ("seek ye first"!!!), and sacrifice (surprise, surprise) to accomplish it. Would I have LOVED to have walked up to the alter and have the pastor lay his hands on me and make me well in an instant. Sure...back then. Would I now trade that instant recovery for what He has shown me through my suffering. NOT IN A MILLION YEARS!!! Why? If it is not as obvious to others who will read this letter as it is to George, it is because it has brought me closer to God than I ever thought humanly possible. It has elevated my faith to a level that I could only dream of...even higher, because I really had no good idea what it could be like...nothing to compare it to. Sure, I had heard of miraculous healing like everyone else. And I believed it! But what does that really do for one's personal faith if it doesn't happen directly to us? Be honest. Isn't it like watching it on TV...gone as soon as you turn the TV off...a momentary rush of adrenalin that fades with time. It is like that drink of water at the well. It is refreshing and necessary but God gives the water...the Living water...that keeps on refreshing and quenches that kind of thirst forever.

So we are healed. We just have to claim it in His name and move forward, examining what it is that is messing up our health and removing it. And thank God we are in a time of His wisdom being poured out onto us like rain. It is dry in Alabama right now but His water is absolutely pouring out of Heaven as we speak. Look at the news, especially the medical news. People giggle at the title of one of my latest papers, borrowing an idea from the incredibly wise and enlightened Mr. Tolkien. But we have won "Helm's Deep", the second to last major battle before the final battle for Middle Earth. It appeared that man was going to be overwhelmed by the ungodly forces that have come against him. But, like those faithful few that knew things could be different and rode out to meet the enemy, there have been those who have known the Truth all along- that God's plan is perfect and that His will WILL be done on earth as it is in Heaven. It will happen. Who can possibly be stronger than the Creator of the Universe? Anyone? Anything???

So what keeps us from winning this battle, especially this one for our health...and our very soul? We do! And we DO reap what we sow in both our physical and spiritual lives. In fact, our medical lives are designed to illustrate what is going on in our spiritual lives. The medicine is the thing SEEN to help us understand the thing UNSEEN, an amazing and crucial principle for us to see in both realms. And in both, the things unseen are more important. The Word tells us this about our spiritual lives. And the cool thing is that it applies perfectly to our medical/physical lives. We can see mold and even the effects of bacteria. Can we see viruses? Hey, they are embedded in our very genome and we are just now...in 2006... discovering this. We can see tapeworms and roundworms in our pets. But they are the least harmful. It is the microscopic hookworms and whipworms...and the worms inside their heart (now there's a metaphor for you)...that do the harm. If we open our eyes, the parallels are everywhere. And one of the reasons that it is 2006 and we are just now learning this stuff is that we have been focusing on the things SEEN. It's time to concentrate on the things UNSEEN. Where do we start? "Seek ye first..."  So simple, so hard for humans to do, just like my dietary guidelines. It is so simple to tell people what to avoid to attain the level of health and mental clarity I now enjoy. BUT, it is not easy, is it?

We are healed....by His stripes. Claim it and go for it! Sanctification is a life long process and the pursuit of health is and should be no different (remember the parallels). We know this. No one is spiritually perfect and no one will be in this life except for our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. Growth comes in waves and His plan is perfect in this regard as well. So, "count it all joy". His plan may not be comfortable, but the outcome will be good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

And, if one was healed at the alter (as I DO believe occurs...as a demonstration of His power and desire for us to be well), would it be for life??? Would that person whose MS, ALS, lupus, fibromylagia, or particular cancer be immune to all other disease? Would they live to be the age of Methuselah? Or would they have to employ all of the dietary principles and avoid all of the chemicals and pollutants that we know exist to stay healthy and be free of others afflictions? Could this be why He does not allow more medical miracles at the alter, as the impending relapse would cheapen that miracle or subject the healing to endless scrutiny by the unbelieving masses?

We have a part in all of this, just as you've said. That is by God's design. Hopefully this little dissertation illustrates that if it does nothing else. His plan is so intricate and detailed and perfect in every way that it is mind-blowing. After 6 years of pretty intensive study, I am just now getting a glimpse of the magnitude of it all. Hopefully others who read this are, too. As we have discussed, disease is not generally a "punishment" (although it was used as a form of judgment in the Old Testament). It is a process by which the body adapts. But, because of our sin (oh oh, there's that word) our days are numbered. For we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). And, Genesis 6:3 is an interesting verse- "And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.". What's the average life span now? However, there are people in three areas of the world living to be close to 120 years old. Where are they and what are they doing right???Ahhh...it's worth a look, isn't it?

Wow, this part got long but I think it was necessary to cover all of this, wasn't it? The bottom line of part (9) here- WE now have a good glimpse into how Christ healed people while on earth and how His Holy Spirit continues to operate to this day in the lives of those with faith. We also understand the potential limitations of that healing. As He said to many after the healing, "Go and sin no more." That is the key, isn't it? Is eating a sin? It sure can be. We are defiling this temple we were given right and left, aren't we? And that is why I love the verse I have written on the scroll above the display I use in class (1 Corinthians 6:12)- "All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of ANY." Wow! How many are under the power of food??? "How many aren't?" is a better question, isn't it?

10) And finally, the epiphany I had this morning. Yes, this last 6 years of study has all led up to the final two points, with the above being incredibly powerful and the latter being the "cherry" on top. Just how will we be transformed and given our new, perfectly healthy body for the ultimate event...the millennium of health and prosperity on the new earth....that time prophesied and discussed in the Word. Yes, there are great debates as to when that happens and the timing of this phenomenal period of man's existence but most agree that it does happen. I will not even start to get into what we did the other night or this Email would never end. (smile). But Christ's healing of the sick and raising of the dead were the clues to how we were to attain health as well as signs of things to come.

The mechanism is the same...align your "antenna" and claim your destiny. Halleluiah! He will transform us in the same fashion that Christ healed the sick and raised the dead- through His almighty power flowing though our "command central"...our antennae...our very DNA. We know that He has command over all things and He does have command over our DNA and the viruses it contains. He demonstrated His command over demons, casting them out one after another in the Gospel accounts, a perfect analogy to what He is capable of in our physical/medical lives. The body will be purged of the unnecessary inhabitants or they will be calmed to a level of peaceful existence, all from the healing energy of His Holy Spirit.
